2001 Oldsmobile Bravada

The optional memory driver seat and power front passenger seat become standard
for 2001 Oldsmobile Bravada. Cargo space is suitable for four adults and several
cargo items. More cargo space can be achieved by folding the rear seat. Although
the rear bench has a low cushion which may be uncomfortable for back seat passengers,
front bucket seats have neatly-trimmed covers and soft texture. Easy to operate
buttons and switches, tidy gauges and cup holders provide much convenience and
comfort. Bravada's 4.3-liter V6 engine is also used by Chevrolet and GM. The electronically
controlled four-speed automatic transmission with gearshift lever found in the
car's console matched the engine's capacity to produce 275 hp @ 6,000 rpm and
275 lb ft of torque @ 3,600 rpm. The electronically controlled transmission adjusts
power supply for the four wheels for easier driving and steering. However trouble
spot for this year are defective brake l8ights and rear hazard flashers that may
fail to function and cause open circuit problems.
